Photo Diary: A Month of Walks to Pile on the Miles

Well, Pile on the Miles ended a week ago. It was a very successful month for me! I got out walking for at least 30 minutes five times per week. I’ve been working a lot, too, plus finals and everything, so I’ve also been making sure to carve out plenty of time for resting and letting my body catch up. Sometimes I walked fast, sometimes I just strolled along and admired the scenery. But overall, I definitely have more energy and feel better. Just being outside has improved my mood a lot! Here are some of the pictures I snapped on those leisurely strolls…

I had all kinds of great plans for workouts to try out and post about over the summer: Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn workout (a modified version, obvi), some from my weight lifting app, some ballet barre from YouTube…alas, my immune system had different plans for me this year.

Instead, I put on about ten pounds over the summer. Thanks a lot, thyroid. You’re a jerk.

Giving Thanks

I realized today that it has been 23 days since I last wrote a blog post. And yet, I couldn’t muster up my usual horror at such a realization.
